Sheikh Ali retreated from the hustle and bustle of Dahab some 15 years ago. He is now living a traditional life in the desert wadi called 'Hagiga' - meaning 'truth'. Sheikh Ali is a well known and much respected man in the Sinai and a frequent host to Bedouin visitors from all over Sinai. In the true spirit of Bedouin hospitality, Sheikh Ali welcomes you to tea, laughter, Bedouin lyrics and Rababah music.

A two hour tea visit to Hagiga lets you experience an incredible man with a light and loving personality. You will be served coffee made from beans roasted on an open fire, sweet Bedouin tea and Bedouin bread made in front of you. You will also have the opportunity to explore the wadi on a little walk into the desert and take in the energy of Sinai nature.
